In Bareboat Preparation you learn the same skills taught in Live Aboard Cruising course on a 35-45' foot yacht, sailing approx. 5 hours per day. Students opt for this course if they prefer shoreside accommodations for the evening as opposed to sleeping on board. Mastered skills include: navigation, crew over boards, sail trim and sail shape, mechanical and electrical systems, and anchoring. There is a 2 person tuition minimum for this course.
