Prerequisite: Basic Keelboat

Course Structure

This course is a four day course, starting on Tuesday and finishing on Friday.

In Bareboat Preparation you learn the same skills taught in Live Aboard Cruising course on a 35-45' foot yacht, sailing approx. 5 hours per day. Students opt for this course if they prefer shoreside accommodations for the evening as opposed to sleeping on board.

Mastered skills include: navigation, crew over boards, sail trim and sail shape, mechanical and electrical systems, and anchoring.

There is a 2 person tuition minimum for this course.

A minimum deposit of 50% of total package is due at the time of the booking. Balance is due 60 days prior to the course start date.

Cancellation/Change Policy:

All cancellations must be received in writing. A $200 per person processing fee is charged on all cancellations. No refunds or transfers allowed for defaults, and cancellations less than 60 days prior to start date of the course.
