Model Sailboats available: Beneteau 44 or Beneteau 39

Tuition: $2,795 per person (4 person maximum per boat)

Course Structure: Seven day combination live aboard cruising/racing course; 4 days bareboat charter instruction and racing practice; 3 days of racing. Bareboat charter certification available.

Tuition includes: Night of arrival accommodations; 7 nights sleep aboard, instructor, entry fees, dockage fees, provisioning: 7 breakfasts; 7 lunches; snacks; crew shirts, text, cruising permit, National Park fees, fuel top offs, hull damage insurance.

Corresponding certifications (optional):

Participants with Basic Keelboat and Basic Cruising training may achieve the Bareboat Charter Certification. Exam fee $50 per person

Strictly racing course also available. Inclusions are same as above with exception of text. Text for this course is Championship Tactics by Gary Jobson.

  • Board boats
  • Boat checkout and chart briefing
  • Racing seminar - Rules, tactics, teamwork
  • Sail to Peter Island; anchor and inspect bottom
  • Tacks and jibes
  • Sail trim, sail shape
  • MOBs, reefing
  • Welcome party and registration at Regatta Village
